The first in the long line of updates we have planned to make your Inventory top notch, we are introducing Expiring Stock Alerts. Now, you will get an expiring stock alert email at the start of each month which lists out your products expiring in the next three months.

Sync your Calendar

You can see what your entire day looks with a glance at your Practo Calendar. If you use apps like Google Calendar or Outlook to manage your schedule, we thought it would be useful if we brought them together.

So now, you can Sync your Practo Calendar to your favorite calendar apps. If you go to Settings > Calendar > Subscribe, you’ll see this:

You can see the list of doctors in your practice with the corresponding calendar link next to their name. You can copy this link to your Google calendar, or click on ‘Outlook/iCal Link’ to directly sync it to Outlook or iCalendar. If you’d like to know more, view the help articles

Released: All Your Patient Information In One Place – Records

Contacts, EMR and Billing – They’re all about patients. So we’ve put all that patient information, under one tab – Records. So when you click on the Records tab, you’ll see everything on the left, for immediate access.

So now that it’s all in one place, you can switch from checking Prescriptions to Payments in no time, just like you’ve wanted to. To start with, Records will be an optional feature – You can always go back to the current way of navigation.

Copy an Appointment

If your patients have recurring appointments at your practice, manually adding each appointment to your calendar will always take longer than expected.

Appointment copy lets you duplicate appointments, so you can make minor edits to your previous appointment (like changing the time), and make a new appointment in a matter of seconds.

When you hover over the appointment and click on copy…Summat

…you’ll be prompted to select a time-slot on the calendar.Click Slot to Paste

Once you click on a timeslot on the calendar, you’ll see this page:

Click on the Paste option, and the Add appointment page gets automatically updated with the appointment details that you just copied. And you have a duplicated appointment in no time.

Billing and Inventory are now connected

Keeping your stock levels up-to-date when you sell products has now been made easier then ever. You wont ever have to worry about how much stock you have for a product. We’ve connected your prescriptions, inventory and billing to give you a seamless invoicing experience.

Add all products from a prescription to to your Invoice in a single click.

Now you don’t have to worry about keeping your Inventory updated when you bill your products. Resolution Center for superior support

We’ve been working hard to give you much more control and keep you updated on all the issues you raise. Hence, we’ve adopted a new approach which takes our support several notches higher.

Introducing the Resolution Center

When you now raise an issue through any medium – email, phone or chat, you will be clued in on every step of the resolution process with update notifications. When the issue is resolved you’ll receive an SMS and you’ll let us know whether we satisfied you, or there’s scope for improvement. At any point in time you can check open and closed issues as well as issues that you rated as good or bad.

Straightforward Payments and Refunds

Using the feedback that we’ve received from you, we are planning to optimise how the Payments section is organised. You will still be able to do all the things you did before, only now, it’s going to be a lot simpler. Here’s a peek:

Settling Advances and Invoices: All on the same page now.

We’re putting all your payment options in one place. From the Add Payments screen, you can accept advances, settle them and settle invoices.

This is what you’ll see when you click on Add Payment.Billing - Sunshine Center _ Practo Ray- Advance payment2Once you’ve entered the Advance amount in the text box, the date will show in the bottom of the screen, where you can change it if needed.

Payment Date

Hit Save Payment when you’re done. The payment is now recorded. To see the help articles for making advance payments, click here.

If you click on the pending Invoice on the right instead, you’ll see this:  Billing - Sunshine Center _ Practo Ray settling an advance from an invoiceYou can settle the Invoice from here. You can see that we’ve already filled in most of the details, as usual. You just need to hit Save Payment and you’re done.

Refunds in under 20 seconds (Yes, we timed it):

Refunds have now moved out of the Add Payment option and now come under the Payments Tab.  It’s just a two-step process, once you click on Refund.Billing - Sunshine Center _ Practo Ray Refund1

Three minor updates for Ray

Sometimes it’s the small things that make a big difference. Here are three such updates to make your practice management a little easier.

1. Appointment Confirmation SMS with the year mentioned.

When your patients/clients book an appointment with you, they get a confirmation SMS. Now, if they book an appointment that falls in the next year, the confirmation SMS will mention the year as well.

2. Sorting Inventory list Alphabetically:

This update applies only to customers in the Practo Basic and Advanced subscription plans.

INVENT SORT

By default, the inventory is sorted according to the item with low stock. Now, you can sort the Name column in the Inventory alphabetically.

  • When you click on Sort A-Z, it sorts the items in the ascending order. The sort option then changes to Sort Z-A.
  • Once you click Sort Z-A, the inventory gets sorted in descending order.
  • The sort option then changes to sort by stock, which will sort the list by stock again.

3. See who’s calling, even if they call from their Secondary mobile number.

This update applies only to customers using Practo Hello service.

These days everyone has two phones (or probably more). That’s why we have a Secondary Mobile Number provision in Practo Ray Contact Profile. Now when patients/clients call your Hello number from their secondary mobile, their names show up in Hello Calls Log, as you can see below.hello idEven though James Joyce has called the practice from two different mobile numbers, you can see that he is recognized in Hello Call Logs for both, his primary and the secondary mobile numbers.
